Timothy E. Green

Tim is a direct descendant of Isaac Slover (1777-1854) through his son Samuel Slover (1811-1873).

Tim attended Matador High School, received his B.A. and M.A. at West Texas State University (now West Texas A&M University) and received his PhD from Texas Tech University.

He taught literature and writing in higher level education for 46 years, retiring in 2015 from St. Edward's University in Austin.

He is now an Emeritus Professor of English with St. Edward’s University and lives in Austin, Texas.
